Stateside based producer Altered Conduct aka Aaron Kay is looking to cause a stir with his deep and musical brand of dance floor music. Starting out as a Breaks producer back in 1998, Aaron went through his share of genres before refining his sound to what it is today.
It was upon hearing a set from Dillinja in around 1999 that cemented Aaron's love for Drum & Bass. He also credits Dom & Roland as having a heavy role in influencing his music at this time.
As the new millennium began his taste in Drum & Bass leaned towards artists including Bad Company, Kemal (Konflict) and other such popular producers supporting the tech step sound of the time.
While developing his production skills Aaron initially took a low key approach, producing under several monikers and keeping his tunes to himself before he was finally happy with his sound and settled on the name 'Altered Conduct'.
In 2008 Aaron sent a number of tunes to Gary and Ben at Urban Sickness Audio who were looking for a third artist to make up the initial roster on the label.
With a view to launching a label with a varied sound, Gary and Ben felt that Aaron's music would complete the line up and bought him on board.
His debut single for Urban Sickness Audio would see him collaborating with his long time hero Contour on the track 'Inner Voices'.
