Slumdogz

Slumdogz was formed in 2009 by legendary Drum & Bass DJs Swan-e and Picto alongside the vocal talents of MC Krafty. With their identities kept secret for their debut release 'Bad', the boys had everyone asking who was behind the Drum & Bass club smasher and the many dub plates circulating the scene.

Slumdogz continued to cause a stir with their follow up releases 'Is It Good Enough?' and 'Fire'. Their success was confirmed once more when their remix of Zed Bias' Garage anthem, 'Neighbourhood' hit the Dogs on Acid sales chart at number one in late 2009.

Swan-e and close friend Gary from Urban Sickness Audio had long since talked about collaborating on music. After seeing the waves made by the USA label the Slumdogz boys got to work on remixing 'Mexican Chick Voodoo', the headline track for Spitting Fury’s 'Bad Tattoos E.P.' The tune gained instant support from Grooverider who smashed it on his BBC Radio One show as well as in the clubs.

This was followed by another stand out remix in the shape of 'Reconstruct the Future' by RareForm, for which the boys diversified to roll out their first hybrid of Liquid Funk and Dance Floor Drum & Bass.
