Fusing analogue and vintage instruments against robotic electronica, The Death Beats create a sub-human sci-fi noise for a futuristic dance floor.

The Death Beats are duo Gary J Robinson and Jonny Vaughan, both founding partners of the Urban Sickness Audio label. Gary met Jonny in 2001 when Gary was already an established producer and New Vision Recordings label boss.

They quickly formed PoisonFlow, a Breakbeat punk act and were signed by Kickin Music. After recording their debut album and playing across Europe they disbanded the now 6 piece live act to concentrate on a more stripped down, gritty electro sound and The Death Beats were born.

Locking themselves away in the English countryside and a remote town in Mexico, the pair set about mixing futuristic beats with catchy riffs crafting edgy dance floor anthems with commercial appeal.
